Small humanoids resembling fairy-tale creatures. They camouflage themselves with natural-fibre clothing

Environment

- Their dwellings, thatched huts made of natural materials, blend harmoniously into the environment.
- Primitive in appearance, the Nox are in fact highly advanced technologically. Their city-ships, invisible to the eye, float above the planet.
- Vegetarians, they live mostly on fruit gathered in the forest; they cook their food over open fires.

Fauna

- The Fenri: Teal'c calls them "hummingbirds... with teeth". They resemble the now-extinct pterodactyl. With five clawed legs and a wing on each side of the body, they have a wingspan of 2.5 m. Their long, narrow tail splits in two at the tip, forming a triangle. These carnivores have narrow jaws and sharp teeth that point outwards. They glide and are drawn to anything that moves.
